Build, maintain, bug fix & sometimes lead PHP projects which include MVC Frameworks (Laravel, Yii2, Symfony), Wordpress, Static PHP sites, DMS (Database Management System), PCG (Product Card Generator), Drupal, Prismic/Headless, Shopify Middleware into SAP, OpenCart. Here is where I found my love for Beck-End Development, I was tasked to build websites, plugins & scripts from scratch as most tasks required to be custom built for clients. Speed was key but also quality & security, for very high profile clients I have to work with my team efficiently and productively to get the task in hand completed correctly and within the timeframe but most importantly as secure as posstible, therefore I chose to take the lead of most projects.
Maintaining a list of clients and being their first line of support for anything web-based. I had monthly tasks of creating newswires and e-Shots for each client. I built many PHP WordPress sites, my list of builds slowly grew each month. The websites which are required to be built are medium sized and not too complex however I pushed my manager for more challenging/technical projects. The companies preferred CMS is WordPress (I know it like the back of my hand). My builds are responsive, mobile friendly and SEO friendly.
I was offered this role as they needed two websites building. Again, on WordPress as they wanted the backend pretty easy to use and upload products. These where both e-commerce sites and have similar functionality.
My role included building & maintaining clients computers, visiting clients and maintain their server infrastructure. Working on Windows servers (2012, 2012 R2, 2008). I was tasked to fix any issues clients had with their hardware. Setup AccessPoints & other computing hardware.

Apart from being a web developer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors, my partner and I own 2 horses & rent a field in Bromsgrove, which keeps us busy all weekend. In my spare time, I am working on personal projects, specifically, TechBits (https://tech-bits.io) is a community for PC enthusiasts like me.
Some spare time goes towards finding something to build or take apart. Or building websites for my own clients. So never a dull moment.
